3/20/18 - 2018 Herkimer County Art Educators Youth Art Month Show

Throughout the month of March, five Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary artists will display their works in the 2018 Herkimer County Art Educators Youth Art Month exhibit at Bassett Healthcare in Herkimer. The county-wide exhibit showcases outstanding art work of local art students in Pre-K through grade 12 as part of March as Youth Art Month. The exhibit also focuses on the value of art education and recognizes art as a necessity for the full development of skills, knowledge and cultural awareness within the total academic curriculum.

The artists, their families and community members are invited to an exhibition opening reception and presentation of certificates on Wednesday, March 20 at the Bassett Healthcare building in Herkimer.

Students with work being showcased are:

• Mackenna Losee -- 1st Grade
• Corinne Bick -- 3rd Grade
• Michael Shmat -- 3rd Grade
• Madison Goodhines -- 4th Grade
• Zoe Dodge -- 5th grade
