Utica Comets Coloring Contest 2017-18
Frankfort-Schuyler fifth grader Ava Jane Werczynski placed 3rd overall in the 3rd Annual Utica Comets Coloring Contest and will receive an iPad mini. Fourth grader Ruslan Kurganov and fifth grader Connor Grates were selected as runners-up in the contest.
The coloring contest, sponsored by the Utica Comets and the Save of the Day Foundation, was open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade from 37 local schools. Students were encouraged to show their outstanding artistic ability in their own unique way while coloring a Utica Comets-themed picture. The contest ran from October 11 through November 10, with winners being selected by Comets staff and announced in late January. The winners’ artworks will be on display inside The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium behind section 205.
