11/8/19 - Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School Holds Veterans Day Program

On Nov. 8, Frankfort-Schuyler elementary school students, staff and community members came together to give thanks and honor those, specifically living in the local community, who have fought for our freedom.

The program included musical performances by student singers and instrumentalists, guest speakers Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia Rowan and Major Scott Helmer, an essay contest, an introduction from local veterans in the crowd and a lunch for all.

The students created patriotic artwork, hung throughout the halls displaying their gratitude for all to see.

This program was made possible in part by contributions from many local businesses and eateries.
